Battle city
Your goal
Protect the eagle base and destroy each wave of enemy tanks. You must preserve the base even when your own tank still has spare lives.
How to play
- You start with three lives. Enemy tanks enter from the top; the remaining-enemy counter shows how much of the stage is left.
- Move into a firing line and shoot in the direction your tank faces. Brick can be destroyed, water blocks tanks, and terrain changes which routes and shots are possible.
- Collect power-ups: stars improve the gun, a helmet grants protection, a shovel temporarily fortifies the base, a grenade clears current enemies, a tank adds a life and a timer freezes enemies.
- Losing a tank uses a life and removes gun upgrades. The base is a separate target: letting a shot reach the eagle ends the game immediately.
Controls
Computer
Use arrows or WASD to move and Space to fire. Enter or P starts or pauses. Hold fire to keep shooting within the gun's shot limit.
Phone or tablet
Swipe and hold on the field to move; release to stop. Hold the fire button to shoot. A short tap on the field pauses the action.
Progress and the end of a game
- Destroy all tanks assigned to the stage to advance. Different tank types award different points; collecting a power-up also awards points.
- You win by completing all 30 stages. The run ends when the base is destroyed or no lives remain. A new game starts again from the first stage.
Useful tips
- Check the base approaches before chasing a distant enemy. A tank near the eagle is more urgent than a convenient target at the top.
- Keep protective brick intact where possible. Use the shovel or timer to recover control when several enemies approach together.
